Services
We work across design, development, and education to make biophilic materials feel possible in the places that matter.
For interior designers and architects in London, Cornwall, and further afield, that means practical support: a clear material direction, a considered application, or the confidence to bring a new material into a live brief.
One studio, three ways in
Choose the scale of support that your idea needs.
01
For a room, a venue, a school, or a home that deserves a more thoughtful material story. We develop the interior language with you, then bring the detail, texture, and atmosphere into focus.
This is sustainable interior design at room scale: a way to make the material, atmosphere, and everyday use belong together.
02
For product teams, designers, and curious organisations exploring what mycelium can do next. We help you test the idea against the real questions: how it grows, how it performs, and where it belongs.
For architects looking for sustainable materials, we help connect a mushroom-based material to the right scale, finish, and use before it reaches a specification.
03
For teams who want the confidence to speak about, specify, and integrate mycelium materials. Our sessions are practical, generous, and designed to leave you with questions worth taking back to work.
CPD training gives interior designers, architects, and client teams a shared vocabulary for bio-based materials and their use in real projects.
The Osmose approach
We bring research, making, and spatial thinking into the same conversation. It keeps the work grounded — and gives ambitious ideas a chance to become useful.
That is the same thinking behind a mycelium acoustic panel, a sculptural object, or a larger interior: understand the material first, then give it a useful role.
Not every project is. Mycelium is a living material, and it asks for the right conditions, the right timeline and the right ambitions to work well. We only take on projects where it genuinely is the better answer — which means we say no to some. We choose our projects carefully, and we work with clients who care about the same things we do: sustainability, well-being and materials that earn their place.
